Mark 9:11-13

¹¹ Then they began to question Him, “Why do the scribes^(A) say that Elijah must come first?”^(B)

¹² “Elijah does come first and restores^(C) everything,”^(D) He replied. “How then is it written^(E) about the Son of Man that He must suffer^(F) many things and be treated with contempt?^{(G) 13} But I tell you that Elijah really has come, and they did whatever they pleased to him, just as it is written^(H) about him.”
